Kudos Software runs on the Microsoft SQL 2005 and SQL express database. Database views allow end user reporting via ODBC/Crystal Reports etc. Executables are written in Delphi and C#, with XML used in multibranch transactions.

Local Delivery

Each location has its own database optimising resilience and speed of use, which is matched either on a batch or virtual real time basis, typically across a VPN.

Central Management

Branch configuration from report design to trading rules can be setup and maintained centrally with the Kudos configurator Program. Additionally, Kudos’ updater allows executables to be updated at branch on an automated basis. The security and resilience of local database hosting made practical by Kudos’ central management tools.

Centralised Data

Use of Head Office gives a data store covering full details of every transaction across the estate.
